About Llewelyn

Llewelyn Brown has more than 12 years of experience in health information technology with expertise in implementing electronic health record (EHR) systems across various clinical disciplines and patient care settings.

Brown joined Mathematica in 2012 and is currently a task leader for the development, maintenance, and support of cancer quality-of-care measures. Funded by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the project focuses on leveraging EHR and Medicare claims data for a quality reporting program for cancer hospitals that are exempt from the Acute Inpatient Prospective Payment System.

Brown’s previous work includes system and clinical analyst positions at Computer Sciences Corporation, the University of Pennsylvania Health System, the Johns Hopkins Hospital, and Maimonides Medical Center. He holds an M.P.A. in public administration and health management/nursing informatics from the Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service at New York University.
